Build Up Hackney Wick

Build Up have raised an incredible £50,000 to fund an exciting youth led project to improve the outside space on the corner of Wick Road  and Flanders way.

Wick Award is contributing £15,00 to the project which will support young people to re-design their own corner of Hackney Wick.

Mateenah, 14, a Wick resident said ‘This project can bring everyone together; as a community we will all own this space, we will be involved and we will have a sense of belonging

Chair Disco🕺💃

A new fun fitness class has proved popular with residents.

Weekly Chair Disco sessions are being hosted at Adelaide Court every Friday morning at 10.30 am. The sessions are free and fun and a great way to get active and meet new people.

One Adelaide Court resident said – “This class has been a hit. I love the music – you can’t help yourself going just a little bit wild”.
